An Amazon order came today!

I ordered “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain. I’m pretty excited to tear into it; I think I’m going to get a lot out of it. I found out about this book when a link to a YouTube video of Susan Cain giving a TEDtalks presentation about how introverts kind of get the shaft in this extrovert-lovin’ world went around Google+.

I also ordered “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened: A Mostly True Memoir” by Jenny Lawson. Tom and I have been reading her blog since 2007. She’s also the matchmaker that hooked me and Louise up to get me a set of knitted genitalia.

Tom and I can’t wait to read Jenny’s book! Hi, Jenny!

I’m spending more time on Google+ than Facebook.

I set up my photography for sale on Zenfolio but I’m not quite ready to unveil it yet. I want to get more up there first.

I’ve sold stuff in my Zazzle store and I have $30 to spend there. :)

I’m incredibly frustrated that I’ve had two Passion Parties and one Thirty-one Party cancel at the last minute recently. I want more parties. I’ve tried email, text, Facebook… I can’t get people to respond, or they say they’ll have a party then postpone it and ignore me when I try to get them to pick a new date. I don’t get it; it’s two maybe three hours out of your life, you get free stuff, you support a small business, I get paid… it’s all a win-win-win situation for everyone. Why wouldn’t you want to have a party or at least hold your date? Imma keep at it though. Enough whining.
